Mother Nature's Son Chp. 2

George shivered, twisting onto his side. With John's warm body next to him, the fright was under control.
Barely.
He hugged himself in the darkness, clenching his jaw. He tried to stretch his body, make himself comfortable.
The sigh in the darkness made him flinch. "You are a restless sleeper, aren't you?"
George chuckled quietly, but it sounded way too tense. His teeth chattering slightly didn't much help either. "Nah. Just...trying to get comfortable."
"Well go to sleep," John snapped lightly. "I can't while your moving around like that."
George didn't answer.
Dark, dark, dark....did something just move? A stab of fear rushed through his chest, until he convinced himself it was nothing.
Wait! Something over there?
He blinked, then squeezed his eyes shut as John turned the light back on. He sat up and squinted at him.
John crossed his arms, looking exasperatedly at the younger man. "Okay, George. What do I need to do to make you actually sleep?"
George's shoulders scrunched, his dark hair brushing them as he did.
John rolled his eyes, but at the same time his heart picked up the pace. Why the hell did he have to look so appealing like that?"
Suddenly his thin cheeks flushed, and he ducked his head down.
"What?" John said, tired.
"Well...." George looked at him from underneath his thick bangs, and John nearly blushed himself. Stupid, sexy George. "Um...well, you could...." He rubbed his hair, awkward.
"I could what?" John said, blushing a little bit himself now. Was he really going to suggest....?
"John?" he whispered.
"Yeah?"
"Could you just...give me a hug?"
John blinked, surprised. Awkwardly he held his arms out.
George leaned forward, burying his face into John's chest. John linked his hands together on the man's back, feeling awkward....yet somehow satisfied.
George wanted to breath in, take in John's unique scent. And even as he though it, contradicting words came into his head. Sniff in the scent of another man? Why?
